Our Story

G – F CHIMA ENTERPRISES LIMITED (G-F) was founded in 2008 by George I. Chima as a conduit for contributing to Nigeria’s development. The company is incorporated in Lagos, Nigeria.  It owns and operates a manufacturing facility in Itori, Ogun state, Nigeria. G-F expects to earn a modest return on investment while providing quality products and services to the construction industry.

Our Company's Objectives

Encourage regulatory enforcement of product quality standards and accreditation of block factories.

Eradicate the use of sub-standard building materials in infrastructure and building construction.

Build and deliver affordable housing (including affordable modular homes) using high quality inputs.

Using the trade-mark name GC BLOCKMAN BLOCKS, with four (4) production plants, and a 60-ton batching plant, we produce world-class, Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) certified high quality vibrated hollow blocks that are available to all at affordable prices at our factory or delivered to project sites. The factory has an installed capacity in excess of 4,000 units per day. Blocks are on sale daily, directly to the public, civil engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, home builders, developers and masons.

Expansion plans are:

  1. Sales/delivery of wet cement-concrete mix;
  2. Real estate development (including affordable modular homes) for the middle class; &
  3. Sales of other building materials – ceramic sanitary wares, sinks, faucets, door locks and handles.

We use optimal raw material mix coupled with an efficient, automated process to fabricate high quality blocks for the building industry.  Our value proposition is simple; we offer high quality blocks at a marginal premium price compared to price points for existing low-quality blocks.  And we have the operational scale to meet demand.

The company desires to partner with government agencies and interested stakeholders in the private sector to give Nigerians peace of mind (as regards the quality of their homes) via:

  1. Eradicating the use of sub-standard building materials in infrastructure and building construction. 
  2. Building and delivery of affordable housing using high quality inputs.
